Brief: Think Unique Promotional Products for an Awards Ceremony
Our customer approached us to help them produce some promotional products for an upcoming awards ceremony. The products had to be unique, useful and pretty special to commemorate a 25 year anniversary. With the products in mind, we thought that a beautiful glass award etched with the company logo and supporting text would be a good starting point, as this would be a great addition to any mantle piece or trophy cabinet.
Next, with this award ceremony being a particularly social event we thought that personalised wine labels would be rather appropriate, as the wine bottles would be sitting pride of place on all the tables, showing off the company logo.
It was then decided that there should be some kind of useful give away for the guests and suppliers, so the idea of personalised note pads seemed to fit perfectly in to the budget.
Clean minimalist design
With the products agreed, it was time to start working on the design. We new the products had to include the following key elements;
- Linear Projects Company Logo
- Supporting header text – Celebrating 25 years
- Dates 1993 – 2018
- Possible company contact details if we can fit them in.
The first thing to think about was coming up with a design or emblem for the 25 years element which was the main highlight of each design.
Looking through various design inspirations our graphic designer created a laurel wreath (which is a symbol of victory and honour) to wrap around the 25 years text.
